Non-ferrous alloys do not contain iron in appreciable quantities. Non-ferrous castings can be made using a sand casting process, an inversion process or a metal mold process that includes a permanent low pressure mold process and a high pressure die casting process (HDC ). HDC is typically used to produce products of small to medium size and large volume.
The most popular non-ferrous metals cast for industrial applications are aluminum alloys, copper-based alloys (bronze and brass), zinc and magnesium alloys, etc.
Non-ferrous metals are typically used for structural applications due to desirable properties such as low density, higher strength / density ratio, higher conductivity, non-magnetic properties or corrosion resistance, etc.
Aluminum alloys are commonly used in the automotive industry for engines, cylinder heads, manifolds, etc. They are also used in food packaging, kitchen equipment, frames for electronics and appliances, window frames, doors, internal combustion engines. Copper alloy products can be used as fluid connectors, valves, heat exchangers and bearings for components of crushers, loaders, shovels and earthmoving equipment.
Facility
We are using an advanced continuous mixer and an Alfa binder for the molding of steel castings and the centrifugal and gravity die process for non-ferrous castings. Our foundries are testimony to its superior infrastructure, such as induction furnaces, gas furnaces, centrifugal casting machines, continuous sand blender, heat treatment workshop, well-equipped laboratory with tensile tests and spectrometer. Our castings are tested for ultrasound, radiography, MPI and DP. For machining we have several sizes of conventional lathes, horizontal and vertical lathes.
